I am a translator, proofreader, editor, and language professional. Meticulous and playful with words, I have been working in translation since 2001. I am a native Czech speaker with permanent residence in Slovakia, where I naturally use the Slovak language.
For many years, I worked in a major Czech translation agency, where I constantly grew professionally. Therefore, I know what high-quality work looks like, and customer satisfaction is my priority.
Foreign languages are, without exaggeration, my whole life. I have been learning German and English since childhood; I continued my studies with a bachelor's degree in German and English for the economic sphere at the University of South Bohemia and completed my education with a master's degree in Translation and Interpreting at Matej Bel University. I can also get by in Danish. In addition, I graduated from a higher vocational school of economics.
So I have not only a linguistic but also an economic education. I am a member of the Union of Interpreters and Translators (JTP, Prague) and the Slovak Association of Translators and Interpreters (SAPT, Bratislava), and I regularly attend their seminars and training sessions.
